Patricia Patterson
Chief Executive Officer

Patricia Patterson started her professional career over twenty years ago as a programmer in Houston, Texas. She was a key member of a team developing an interactive graphics package to assist geologists and geophysical interpreters place drilling platforms. In 1987, Patterson became a consultant to McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis where she was a member of the programming team involved in the manufacture of the F-15.

In 1989, Patterson was promoted to Technical Manager at a consulting firm where her supervision of consultants involved their project reviews, salary reviews, and career path planning.

Patterson began her career with DCSS in a consulting capacity, helping DCSS build client relationships. She now serves as CEO. Her knowledge of large software development projects and the ability to make each project successful is a great asset in positioning DCSS to be effective for each client. As a founding member, Patricia Patterson has been instrumental in obtaining certifications for DCSS’s recognition in the business community as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE).

In 1999, Patterson was a recipient of the Top 20 Houston Women in Technology award and participated in Leadership America. Patterson serves on the Board of Directors for the Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation in Wichita, Kansas and is on the advisory board for the Fort Bend County Women’s Center.

Patterson graduated with honors from Delta State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics. Patterson continued her education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Mississippi.
